'True Blood' Season 5 Teaser: Is Russell Edgington Returning? (VIDEO)
Get ready, Trubies! The smash hit HBO show True Blood is returning for its fifth season this summer, and last night we got to sink our teeth into a brand new teaser.
There is set to be lots of drama (and blood!) this season. In the clip, the words, "In Bon Temps, nothing stays buried forever" roll across the screen and seems to allude to the return of Russell Edgington, the King of Mississippi. The last we'd seen of him, he was being buried down in cement by Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).
Watch the clip above and tell us: Are you excited for Russell's possible royal return?
Earlier this month, actor Joe Manganiello revealed that Alcide has a huge role in the fifth season.
"As you saw at the end of season four, he's not taking anyone's s**t any more," Manganiello told TV Line. "Now you're going to see an Alcide who's going to slam you up against the wall and do his thing. Who doesn't like being slammed up against the wall, right?"
He also revealed there are scenes between Alcide and Sookie (Anna Paquin) that "make you really nervous".
Are you ready for the new season? We sure are!
