Taylor Swift No Longer in Running For Les Miserables Role

Looks like Taylor Swift is left to sing her own love songs. Though rumors were swirling this past month that Swifty was in line to land a role in the musical movie Les Miserables, E! News confirms that is no longer the case.

The country crooner was said to be cast as Eponine, thus singing one of the more known songs in the play, "On My Own." Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood were also thought to have a shot at this part, but alas the role has been cast to an actress who's not so known.

According to E!, staqe actress Samantha Barks will reclaim her role as Eponine on the big screen, starring alongside Hollywood hunk Hugh Jackman. The actress tweeted following the announcement, "Most incredible moment of my life!!!! X"

The news broke when the play-turned-movie's producer Cameron Mackintosh announced that Sam had been cast following her play Oliver! at the Manchester Palace in NYC on Tuesday night.

How do you feel about this casting news? Was TSwift the better choice? Sound off in the comments.

Thanks , I've recently been searching for information approximately this topic for ages and yours is the best I've came upon till now. But, what in regards to the bottom line? Are you certain in regards to the supply?|What i do not realize is in fact how you're no longer really a lot more well-appreciated than you may be right now. You're so intelligent.

I actually agree. T-Swift just doesn't have the right vocals to be Eponine. Nothing against her, but she wouldn't be able to do it. Successfully at least.

Taylor Swift though very sweet does not have the vocal talent or ability to play the role of Eponine. She needs to stick to here teeny-bopper songs that all pretty much sound the same.
