Eva Mendes Calls Her Boyfriend Ryan Gosling a 'Dream Costar'

Being the girlfriend and costar of one of the sexiest men alive isn't a bad place to be. Eva Mendes chatted with Marie Claire about shooting scenes in A Place Beyond the Pines with her real-life beau Ryan Gosling, but steered clear of talking about their personal relationship. Amid a series of sexy shots and candid quotes, the actress, 37, told the magazine:

"[Ryan's] your dream costar. I have never felt so creatively satisfied on a film."

Despite being one of the hottest women and Hollywood and dating the man of our dreams, Eva does admit that even she has body image issues. "I realize I have contributed to a certain happy, healthy, empowered image, but that’s not all of me. I feel it’s important to let women know that I have similar struggles. ... When I am complimented on things that I didn’t like when I was 13, like my overbite and my mole, that’s when you realize that your imperfections are why people love you.”

So who are some women that the flawless Eva admires? She tells Marie Claire that The Kids Are All Right stars Julianne Moore and Annette Bening are her role models. "I have a girl crush on them. I’d kill to have half the careers they’ve had after 40."
