Scarlett Johansson: '2012 Will Not Be Easy'
Some predict that 2012 is the end of times...but Scarlett Johansson has hope for the future!
The actress co-hosted a fashion-themed fundraiser for Barack Obama's re-election in New York with Vogue top dog Anna Wintour called Runway to Win -- a collection of designer goods being sold to raise money for the campaign. Although ScarJo says "it won't be easy," she believes there's light at the end of the tunnel.
Celebuzz was front and center at the event, where The Avengers star delivered this moving speech:
"One of the incredible things about the President’s campaign is that it lets everyone contribute in their own way," she said. "That’s the essence of Runway to Win: anyone can use their unique talents and skills to help the President keep our country headed in a positive direction."
"There is so much at stake in this campaign," she added. "2012 will not be easy. We have to fight even harder this time around, and that’s where Runway to Win will make a real difference."
