Adele Sings To Anderson Cooper For First Time Since Surgery (VIDEO)
She's still got it! After undergoing throat surgery late last year, Adele gave us a preview of what we can expect at Sunday night's Grammy Awards when she hits the stage. The "Someone Like You" singer sang for the first time since her surgery on 60 Minutes for Anderson Cooper.
Adele sang "Rolling in the Deep" a cappella for Anderson, who admitted in 60 Minutes Overtime that he runs to that song every morning. The Grammy nominee's rendition of the song was flawless, leaving us eager to see her stage performance.
“I don’t think anyone who’s vaguely conscious doesn’t listen to Adele's songs," Anderson said of the 21 singer.
Anderson’s interview with Adele, 23, airs Sunday on CBS at 7/6 central.
The UK songstress recently spoke out about her image after designer Karl Lagerfeld called her "a little too fat."
She told People:
“I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines,” she says. “I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that.”
