Adele: I'm Not Taking 5 Years Off, More Like 5 Days

Adele fans rejoice! After a whirlwind win at the 2012 Grammy Awards for her 21 album, media outlets went wild with a quote she made to the March issue of Vogue magazine where she stated that she was looking to take five years off from music.
"I am f------ off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail," she told the publication. "So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy,"
However, her tune has changed...

The "Someone Like You" singer took to her blog to reveal that she's headed back to the studio!!! Adele wrote
"I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!"
Adele performed publicly for the first time since her throat surgery at the Grammys. She was well received, earning a standing ovation that brought her to tears. Check out her performance below.

What do you think? Should Adele take some time off post-surgery? Sound off in the comments!
