Rihanna Throws Intimate Birthday Bash With Chris Brown in Attendance
Looks like Rihanna certainly isn’t one of Chris Brown‘s haters. The pop star, who turns 24 on February 20, threw a small birthday party for herself Monday in Los Angeles at a private house.
The party, which was Caribbean themed, brought out 100 of RiRi’s closest friends including Katy Perry, Bruno Mars…and Chris Brown?
Sources at the bash confirm to Celebuzz that Chris was indeed in attendance and we’re told the two definitely appeared friendly.
Around 2 in the morning Rihanna was presented with a birthday cake, however the party didn’t stop there!
Guests at the soiree were said to be drinking Red Bull well into the night and toasted the superstar with Armand de Brignac Brut Gold Champagne.
This past weekend marked the three year anniversary of when Brown physically assaulted Rihanna, and many were upset when Chris won a Grammy Sunday. He addressed the backlash on Twitter:
“HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY. Now! That’s the ultimate F**K OFF.”

This isn’t just about him. If you’re defending him then you’re defending all the abusers out there who aren’t celebrities. If you think it’s time to forgive him and leave this in the past then you are telling all the abusers out there that they deserve all the second chances they get. Can’t believe how upset ppl are getting over this. It really takes someone who has been through something like this to understand it. I don’t condone abuse but people really can change or learn from mistakes. You can forgive a person who maybe was a bully as a child and bullied many many people amounting up the same amount of hurt I would say. Maybe he has changed and learned from his mistakes. Rihanna is trying to move on. She has decided to forgive Chris and I feel this is a private matter between two young people who obviously loves each other. I am sure they have both learned from their past mistakes. If they want to move forward and learn from previous drama and to live better and give each other a second chance they should be allowed to do that and everyone else should simply wish them well.

The LEAST you all could do regarding the tweet ( which his publicist said he did not personally tweet, according to the original source of that story) is print it in its entirety. You know the part that was asking why we as a society pick and chose who to be upset at for things EQUALLY as bad and if someone is making a genuine effort to change why we still throw stones?

But my feelings towards Chris remain the same, and I don’t have to forgive him, or move on, or forget what happened. We all have a right to make our own decisions about him, and some of us choose to think he is a violent asshole who has not shown remorse for his actions and has not earned a second chance, or our money.
