New details have emerged regarding the funeral proceedings of the late Whitney Houston. An array of media sites have come out with new reports including news of the singer's death certificate, where Whitney is to be buried and who will perform at the funeral.

Entertainment Tonight is reporting that Whitney's godmother Aretha Franklin will sing at the "I Will Always Love You" singer's funeral, and was personally asked by Clive Davis.

It is also rumored that Kevin Costner will speak during the service. The two costarred in The Bodyguard, her first feature film.

The pop diva's funeral service is by invitation-only, and will be held this Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in New Jersey, the church Whitney grew up singing in.

As for her death certificate, TMZ.com is reporting that there has yet to be an official cause of death pronounced on the document and the manner of death is still listed as "pending investigation."

While mystery still involves the cause of her passing, the website claims they know where the singer will be buried. According to TMZ, Whitney will be placed next to her father John Russell Houston, Jr. at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey. Her father passed away in 2003.

Whitney passed away on Saturday, February 11. She was 48.

Interesting reporting: Nobody would have to ASK Aretha to attend-certainly NOT Clive Davis, Aretha was Whitney's GODMOTHER for goodness sake.
