Whitney Houston’s Funeral Streaming Live (VIDEO)
Although Whitney Houston‘s funeral is invitation only, the late singer’s close friends and family have decided to invite Associated Press to stream a live video for fans at home as they celebrate Houston’s great life. It will air Saturday at 9am PT/ 12pm ET.
According to the invite, Whitney’s farewell has been dubbed a “going home” service. Friends and family will celebrate the life of the legendary singer, rather than mourn her death.
Celebrity guests’ listed to pay their respects include Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Clive Davis, Dionne Warwick and, of course, Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina. Houston’s The Bodyguard co-star Kevin Costner is also set to speak at the service.
Aretha Franklin‘s performance was removed from the program as the singer could not make it to the event due to illness.
