While Whitney Houston‘s family gathered inside New Hope Baptist Church to pay their respects on Saturday, her former husband Bobby Brown was outside getting into an argument.

Although Brown's invitation allowed him to bring two guests, the New Edition member brought nine people to the service. Bobby was granted entrance to the church but his party was moved around several times before he finally complained to security. A source told TMZ that Bobby wanted to sit with his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, but Whitney’s family denied his request. Bobby reportedly left the service before it ended.

Celebuzz took it to our Facebook to see what our readers had to say about this situation. Here's how you responded:

Romi A. -- Screw his entourage, he should've been there for his daughter!

Tanya S. -- Who shows up at a funeral with 9 people? He should have showed up alone or with his wife and given that respect to Whitney's family.

Tamarind D. -- Why did they have to taint such a beautiful service. If what Bobby just said is true, those security people owe him and his family an apology.

Ashley N. -- He shouldn't have been allowed to attend.

Karolina W. -- even tho they say that the security moved him and his family 3times and didn't let him see Bobby K. it still was not right in my personal opinion. he should of shut his mouth, sit where they told him to and pay his respect!

Maricelle K. -- Bobby Brown ruined her life. Not to forget he abused her too! Whitney didn't want anything to do with him. So, NO he shouldn't have been there but glad he paid his respect & left.

Agnes M. -- He should have stayed but respect the family's wishes. Why bring 9 people along if the invite says only 2.

Megan J. -- Should have been there not only for Whitney but at least his daughter

Monde S. -- It's always all about Bobby Brown to him. But today, it was Whitney's day.

Susan A. -- He should have for Bobby Kristina even though he wasn't seated next to her and furthermore to pay his last respects to Whitney these are who were important at this time, nothing else.

Sarah H. -- He should have been there for his daughter.

April P. -- If he cared about his daughter then he'd have stayed by her side at her mother's funeral.

Brown later released an official statement to CNN on the matter. It read:
“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. … I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”

I've been browsing on-line more than 3 hours nowadays, yet I never discovered any fascinating article like yours. It's pretty price sufficient for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made just right content as you probably did, the internet will be much more helpful than ever before.

The women in the photo is not his wife. It is his eldest daughter, LaPrincia.

The media is such scum. They lied. They said he had an entourage of 9 People. It was just Bobby, his brother, and his children (Bobbi K's siblings). I'm no fan of Bobby and he is no angel but I hate how the media took this whole thing outta context. Bobby has his fair share of issues but he is still close to his daughter. Bobby tweeted about him many times and she, Whitney & bobby were seen having dinner a few weeks before Whitney died. Bobbi K needed her brothers & sisters, father, uncle there.

he wanted to role play for the cameras when he knew the world was watching he shouldh have been at his daughters side all these days. its not the day of the funeral when there are eyes watching. BOBBY BROWN will always be a nobody..he tried to bring whitney down cause of his own insecurities...spitting on a woman. i wish whitney had written a book!!!!

Whoa...lot's of bad blood between Nip's family and BB. 6 extra people? Not polite. Not being allowed to see his daughter? She's 18,right? It's her choice.

Bobby brought people to support him, whats wrong with that? The man played a important role in her life, im sure she didn't want to happen this. Whitney was al about love and forgiveness. The two have a love-baby, their daughter for God sake. Two invitations? Didn' t they think that more children off Bobby wouldn't want to say goodbye to her? Those were also her children. It's not respectfull to reseat the entourage three times. Also absurd that he couldn't sit next to his daughter to support her, one of the reasons he went in the first place. She doesn't have to live with her dad, but why can't he sit next to her for support? People are so eager to judge the man, but Whitney was no angel either. Nobody knows the full story and what happens between those walls. I think Bobby and Whitney loved eachother, and still did. He 's is not afraid to admitt that. Even after seperation. Not only she loved him, he did also. The two have a history together and were on speaking terms. So wtf is the problem with everybody? And yes, he tours at the moment, so what? What does everybody want, he breaking down, returning to drugs and stuff? In the reality show I saw a couple who couldn't live with or without eachother, both ways. The man is broken, can't nobody see this on the pictures? I hope he holds himself together, for krissy and the rest of his children and his fiance. You go Bobby. I know you are in pain. Hang on brother. I love Whitney to, who didn't?

People are being so rude. Yes it was Whitney's day and nobody should be trying to take that away, but again the man said that security tried to prevent him from seeing his daughter. Your all saying he should have been there for her, but how could he when the security wouldn't even allow him to? I think you need to stop trying to find a reason to bring him down, and understand that he is grieving, his daughter who is also the daughter of Whitney is grieving and just stop trying to point a finger at someone.

Tells you a lot about a man when he can't even go to a funeral, and show some respect. Even now, when Whitney is no longer with us Bobby Brown is still trying to upstage her. The legacy of Bobby Brown is the decimation of Whitney Houston. God forgive you Bobby Brown for what you have done RIP Whitney
