Josh Hutcherson Sees ‘Hunger Games’ For the First Time, Praises ‘Fantastic’ Co-Stars
Though the Hunger Games hits theaters in just about a month, (March 23 to be exact!) one of its star is just now seeing it for the first time.
On Tuesday, Josh Hutcherson, who plays District 12 tribute Peeta Mellark, tweeted about seeing the highly-anticipated film for the first time saying: “Oh yeah, I forgot. I saw the Hunger Games yesterday for the first time…”
So, what’s the verdict?
I really, truly, love it. I’m bad about being able to say that too. Which says a lot. It tells the story perfectly and the acting amazes me

The 19-year-old also added: “Jennifer, Liam, Woody, Elizabeth, Lenny, Donald, EVERYONE, was fantastic,” and called the film’s director Gary Ross a “genius.”
Of course, Josh is referring to Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Liam Hemsworth (Gale), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch), Lenny Kravtiz (Cinna), and Donald Sutherland (President Snow). We’re so glad he liked it, and it gets us even more excited to see it when it finally hits theaters!
Will you be seeing it? Let us know in the comments!
