Though the actual 2012 Oscars ceremony has been a bit shaky thus far, host Billy Crystal still had an inspired moment during his always entertaining opening monologue.
At one point in the segment, the nine-time host mocked a scene from The Descendants, in which he was awoken from a coma by – what else? – a kiss from George Clooney. The kiss, of course, inspired Billy to get up and host the show. We can’t say we’re all that surprised.
