Whitney Houston passes away.
Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown spent her 19th birthday grieving with her grandmother, Cissy, on Sunday. The aspiring singer recently lost her mother and, according to a source for Us Weekly, has been going through the grieving process as she quietly resumes to her everyday routine.

“She really needs her own space right now to heal, and Cissy knows that,” another source told the magazine.

BK was by her mom’s side in Los Angeles during the legendary singer’s final days and was hospitalized for an emotional breakdown soon after Whitney’s passing. Despite reports of Bobbi running away and “getting high” in a hotel room after Whitney’s Newark funeral, family members insist that she remained with the party during the entire night.

“She was with the family the whole time,” Bobbi godmother Darlene Love told Access Hollywood. “We all went to a restaurant we call after a funeral or home celebration, a repast, where everybody goes and sits and talks and eats. She was there, she was there yesterday, she’s been with the family these last couple of days.”

According to Us Weekly, Bobbi “[has] been getting along a bit better” with her grandmother. She is the only child of Whitney and New Edition member Bobby Brown.
