Peter Facinelli & Jennie Garth Join Couples Who've Split in 2012 (PHOTOS)
Earlier in the week, Twilight actor Peter Facinelli and 90210 star Jennie Garth announced that they have split after 11 years of marriage. The couple confirmed their divorce to US Weekly and said, “While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”
So, what other celebs have called it quits this year?
In January, Heidi Klum and Seal, who wed in 2005, shocked the world when they announced their separation. Although the supermodel mom kept mum about the split for quite some time, her former husband Seal went on multiple talk shows to talk about the divorce.
He told Ellen DeGeneres on her show:
“You go into these things with the greatest intentions when you say ‘I do’ and you say ’till death do us part’ — those vows hold value. … They are not just words. These things happen.”
