Jennie Garth: I’m Starting A Brand New Adventure In Life
“I’m starting a brand new adventure in life,” she tells Celebuzz. She and hubby Peter Facinelli filed for divorce, now she’s moving on with her daughters on an epic adventure on their own. Her family will be featured on Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country, which takes them out of Hollywood and into, well, the country!
“It’s kind of a reality show, but I like to think of it as an altered reality show because my life has kind of been like an altered reality,” she says. “I’ve always wanted to move with my girls to the country and live on a farm with animals. I decided to let people come in and film it. This started out as something else, then turned into something else, and now it’s turned into this…[laughs]now it’s going to be on TV. ”
The drama in her private life will play out on the show, but Peter won’t be making an appearance.
“If people watch it, great. If they don’t, great. I’ve never thought I’d be doing this, but I love reality shows, so be it.”
She’s also working hard to help kids in need with another new project, launching the first in a series of “Breakfast & A Book” reading events to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories program. Just this morning, she led a special book reading for Los Angeles-area children, where she encouraged donations to First Book, a nonprofit that provides great access to books.
