Ali Wentworth: I Told Jennifer Lopez That She Couldn't Act (VIDEO)
Comedienne Ali Wentworth has had a lot of famous friends through the years (after all, her mother worked in the White House as Nancy Reagans' social secretary). So when she stopped by HDNet's Naughty But Nice with Rob, you bet that the 47-year-old actress had a lot to dish -- including her encounters with A-listers Oprah Winfrey and Jennifer Lopez. She told host Rob Shuter about her favorite memory with Lopez when the two used to work on In Living Color together.
“[The writers] would be in the writer's room writing sketches and stuff and she would come in and say, ‘Hey, can I do a line?’" she recalled. "And we would be like, 'You can't act!'"
“Oprah’s fantastic," Ali, who was a correspondent on Winfrey's show, also dished. "She’s everything you would want her to be. We would laugh and laugh and get our nails done. She didn’t really give notes after a show.”
Wentworth's in-depth interview airs Saturday, March 24 at 8 PM. Be sure to also check out Ali's new book Ali in Wonderland.
