Report: Kim Kardashian Will Press Charges Against Flour Bomber
It looks like Kim Kardashian's flour bomber will have more than just baking ingredients on her hands as charges WILL be filed against her!
On Saturday, sources close to Kim told TMZ that the 31-year-old will be pressing charges against her attacker. KK was recently assaulted with a bag of cooking flour at the launch of her new fragrance, True Reflection, at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, CA. The woman who threw the flour, rumored to be an anti-fur activist, was detained by security and the fire department and paramedics were called as a precaution.
"I said earlier no I wasn't [going to file a complaint]," Kim told E! Online. "I am just going to think about it, because I don't want someone to think they can really get away with that. So we are going to handle that."
TMZ reports that Kim will contact law enforcement in the next few days to tell them she wants to press charges. According to their source, Kim wants to send the message that people are entitled to their opinion but should not resort to violence to have their voices heard.
However, on Thursday, Kim remained ever the professional and dusted her shoulders off before heading back to the event. She told E! with a laugh, “That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me. Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that’s a whole lot of translucent powder right there.”
Although some have speculated that the flour bomber was part of PETA as onlookers overheard her saying something about fur, the animal rights organization has denied these claims, saying in a statement to Celebuzz:
“PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments. Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not.”
The flour bomber was caught but released after Kardashian said that she did not wish to press charges. Celebuzz soon attained a photo of the culprit -- which could be seen HERE.
