La La Vasquez Anthony: Kim Kardashian's Flour Bombing Was 'Unfortunate' (EXCLUSIVE)
On Thursday, Kim Kardashian was flour-bombed by an unidentified woman during the 31-year-old's joint fragrance launch and charity event, and since then celebrities everywhere have commented about the attack. Over the weekend, Celebuzz caught up with one of KK's closest friends, La La Vasquez Anthony, at the GLAAD Media Awards where the actress spoke out about the assault.
"It was an unfortunate incident that a person took those measures to make any kind of point," she told us. "But more importantly, she dusted herself off literally and went back out there. That's the spirit you have to have in those situations."
LaLa also spoke out about the importance of standing up to bullies in our society.
"I definitely always supported GLAAD. I wanted to support the Weinstein Company and the movie Bully because I wanted to bring attention to this serious issue," she said. "At times, I don't think people understand what a huge issue it is. [With me] having a son, it's just that much more important to me to speak about it and let people know that something needs to be done."
