Sophisticated-Looking Chloe Moretz Heads To NYC After Accepting 'Carrie' Remake Role (PHOTOS)

Hugo youngster Chloe Moretz has accepted the lead role in the upcoming remake of Brian De Palma's Carrie, the star confirmed on Tuesday.
"Never been so happy in my life! Thank you Kim Pierce and thank u MGM for the chance of a lifetime i will never forget!" she tweeted.
Chloe, who is just 15 years old, will take over the role originated by a then-26-year-old Sissy Spacek, whose portrayal of the sheltered teenager who uses her telekinetic powers to wreak havoc on her classmates earned her an Oscar nomination in 1977.
It's a big role for Chloe, seen here looking well beyond her years at she arrived at JFK on Tuesday. Can the confident 15-year-old pull off the sensitive role? And should they even be remaking the movie at all?
