Lamar Odom Quits Dallas Mavericks
After a brief -- and unsuccessful -- run in Texas, Lamar Odom looks to be heading back West. Khloe Kardashian's husband, 32, announced Monday that he is parting ways with NBA team Dallas Mavericks after coming into the organization at the start of this season.
"I'm sorry that things didn't work out better for both of us," Lamar said of his departure, via ESPN. "But I wish the Mavs' organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship."
Given Lamar's bumpy ride in Texas, it may not come as a surprise that he's leaving mid-season. This past March, the former Los Angeles Lakers star announced that he would be joining the Mavs affliate D-league team, the Texas Legends -- only to announce a day later that he was returning to the Mavs.
Lamar also took some time off due to family matters which some say led to him going to the Legends in the first place.
