Sherri Shepherd Eliminated From ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Sherri, whose performance of the Tango on Monday earned her a score of 21 out of 30, was understandably emotional following her elimination, saying through tears, “I just want to say thank you for letting me live a dream that I’ve always had.”
“I want to say to every person out there: That thing that scares you the most that makes you say, ‘I don’t know if I can do it, I’m scared,’ run towards it, because it’s so amazing on the other side!” she added.
Also in bottom two tonight was actor Roshon Fegan, who narrowly missed being eliminated despite earning an impressive 26 out of 30 points on Monday. It just goes to show: Not even the judges can save you on Dancing With the Stars!
Eliminations aside, the show also set aside a moment to give an update on Melissa Gilbert, who was sidelined from tonight’s results show due to a mild concussion and whiplash she reportedly suffered after performing the Paso Doble on Monday.
“I really do hope she’s okay,” said Melissa’s partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. “She’s a fighter [and a] trooper, and I’m looking forward to next week. She’s looking forward to next week. She’s a little sedated so she doesn’t know what she’s looking forward to.”
Gilbert will give an exclusive update on her condition to Good Morning America on Wednesday morning.
