George Zimmerman Charged in Death of Trayvon Martin: Stars React On Twitter
UPDATE: A law enforcement spokesperson says Zimmerman has been charged with second degree murder and is in custody.
The law has spoken and now, so are the celebrities.
From Taraji P. Henson to Russell Simmons, Hollywood heavyweights took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to react to the news that George Zimmerman is expected to be charged with the death of Trayvon Martin, who was shot in Florida on Feb. 26 by George, a man claiming to be neighborhood watchman, in a gated community. Trayvon was unarmed and walking through the community when he was pursued by Zimmerman – who claimed the boy looked “suspicious.” At some point during the pursuit of the boy, Zimmerman shot and killed him, claiming that he felt “threatened.”
But what are the celebs saying about the news?
