She's not in Kansas anymore!
From Broadway to the big screen, Glee gal Lea Michele offers up a first look into her new animated movie Dorothy of Oz. The actress will be the voice of the classic character, Dorothy, alongside Broadway and TV veteran Bernadette Peters, who will play Glinda the Good Witch. "I'm a Broadway baby so I've been a fan of hers since Into the Woods," Lea, 25, said of her costar.
Smash actress Megan Hilty also has a voice in the movie, taking on the role of China Princess. "I've known Megan for a while," Lea disclosed. "I think it's just so great. And I think it's encouraging also for people who come from theater that they can cross over into the film and TV world."
These are great things to say about a gal who kissed Lea's man Cory Monteith for charity this past month.
and told Celebuzz following the lip-lock, "It was for a good cause. I hope Lea isn’t jealous… She and I are friends and go way back."
Lea doesn't seemed worried, and the two will probably be sharing some red carpets together for their upcoming film project. Dorothy of Oz also stars Martin Short, Jim Belushi, Kelsey Grammer, and Dan Aykroyd. The movie is set to hit theaters later this year.
