Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Take Family to Obscure Island After Engagement Announcement (PHOTO)
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are getting away from it all ... way away from it.
The newly engaged Hollywood power couple landed in the Galapagos Islands on Thursday with their family in tow. The islands are quite obscure, set 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean. The Jolie-Pitt brood will reportedly spend their time exploring the natural beauty of the land. This is after all the island where Charles Darwin made his observations and theories on evolution.
A week ago, it was revealed that after seven years and six kids, Brad, 48, asked Angelina, 36, to marry him. “Yes, it’s confirmed,” Pitt’s manager Cynthia Pett-Dante confirmed on April 13. “It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There’s no date set at this time.”
This will be Brad’s second marriage, as he was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005, while this will be the Angie’s third marriage. Angelina was married to Jonny Lee Miller from 1996 to 1999 and Billy Bob Thorton from 2000 to 2003.
