Ricky Martin is no longer livin’ la vida loca in Miami, FL. After five years on the market, the Spanish heartthrob’s home in the Sunshine State was sold for a whopping $10.6 million, Real Estalker reports.

The 40-year-old singer — who is currently residing in NYC while performing in Broadway’s Evita – was living large in Miami with this 9,491 square feet, seven bedrooms, eight full and two and a half bathrooms.

Though it took a while to sell, Ricky did have some new celebrity parents interested in the home.

It was reported in Dec. 2011 on TMZ that Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z had toured the mansion, but they didn’t end up purchasing the estate. Though Ricky originally put the house on the market for $16.9 million in 2007, we don’t think $10 million is anything to turn a nose up at.

Real Estalker describes the home as a  “gated Mediterranean that was built in 2004″ and even includes “separate guest quarters located across the center motor court from the main house.” In addition, “stone and wood floors run throughout the very grown up and architecturally detailed residence that includes intricately articulated ceilings, carved stone columns and fireplaces, and an almost alarming number of archways and arched windows, many of which suck up the glittery, northwesterly bay views.”
