Ashton Kutcher Planning Return to 'Two and a Half Men' in $700K Per-Episode Deal: Report
The report says that Ashton will make "about $700,000 per episode," adding that the deal is expected to be finalized in time for CBS' Upfronts presentation, on May 16.
But what about his costars?
Ashton, 34, signed on to the show last May, after Charlie Sheen was unceremoniously fired in March over disparaging comments made at series creator Chuck Lorre.
But while Ashton's debut made a huge splash in September, drawing a record-setting 28 million viewers, the show has since struggled in the ratings by comparison; Monday night's episode, for example, drew just 11.25 million viewers, while the show hit a series low, on April 9, with just 10.39 million viewers tuning in.
The ratings hit was just one of many hiccups for Ashton over the last season; in November, his wife of six years, Demi Moore, filed for divorce amid rumors that Ashton had cheated on her with multiple women. Ashton has since been spotted hanging out with various women, including his former That '70s Show costar, Mila Kunis.
How Two And A Half Men will fare next season, its 10th on CBS, remains to be seen. For now, at least, the show will look the same: Co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones are also expected to return, albeit for less money than Ashton.
