Jessica Alba's Sequin Tie Style: Yay or Nay? (POLL/PHOTOS)

Jessica Alba stepped out in a fashion forward tuxedo-style outfit Monday night, April 30, at the FABB: Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference in Santa Monica, Calif., hosted by Lucky magazine.

The hot mama-of-two opted for a casual, red carpet outfit, rocking a grey Alice + Olivia  sweater with an embellished sequin tie and printed pants from Topshop.

This is quite a risky style statement for the 31-year-old actress, who celebrated her birthday on Saturday, April 28. It reminds us of those tuxedo printed t-shirts.

Despite her sweater style, Jessica stayed with the spring trends by topping off this look with bright orange two-toned capped pumps. Jessica got a few compliments for her outfit via Twitter. One fan wrote:
