Tweeting a photo of herself with the pup on Wednesday, she wrote: “He was left in a box in front of Walmart. I don’t understand how people can be so cruel.”
Since then, the puppy hasn't seemed to have left Miley's side, with one of her Thursday tweets reading:
"There's times when I think we dont rescue them but they save us. He brings so much ❤ into my life.We r BOTH so grateful."After a number of messages and pics, the singer/actress admitted:

FYI!!!! She has 5 dogs in her house, Floyd, Lila, Ziggy, Joey and now Happy!! Her past dogs live with Miley's father!! They're Mate and Feather!!! DON'T JUDGE MILEY!!!!
No matter how you look at it, it's better to be fed well in a nice spare mansion, then left homeless on the streets or put to sleep.
Miley has had like, what, 7 dogs in the past year? I feel like she just keeps them for three months until they get bigger, then puts them in a spare house that she owns and gets a new dog. o_O
She's so kind to rescue all these animals. And what makes it better is the love she has for animals, it's astounding. Happy is so incredibly cute, I just want to hug him.
