Beastie Boys Rapper MCA, Adam Yauch dead at 47.
Following the news that Adam Yauch, aka MCA from the popular rap group Beastie Boys, had passed away at the age of 47 on Friday, celebrities rushed to Twitter to send their condolences.

From Justin Timberlake to MC Hammer, musicians and many more celebs have tweeted their praise and sympathies for the rapper.

Of the celebrities who tweeted, Timberlake wrote:

“Crushed to hear the news of Adam Yauch’s passing. A true pioneer of art. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. #RIPMCA.”

Adam’s cause of death is unknown and is survived by his wife and daughter.

In 1979, Adam, along with Mike D, Mix Master Mike, and Ad Roc formed the rap group now known as the Beastie Boys. The group has won multiple Grammys and changed the face of rap with songs such as “No Sleep Till Brooklyn,” “Fight For Your Right,” “Intergalatic,” “Sabatoge,” and “License To Ill.”
