Roshon was the first to go, in an elimination that was likely anticipated by those who have been keeping up with Dancing this season. Despite a comeback of sorts on Monday, in which he earned a score of 56 out of 60, enough for a second-place finish, the 20-year-old actor had been in the bottom two for the last two weeks, and had squeaked by solely because of the Dancing Dual, better known as DWTS‘ version of the judges’ save.
This time around, however, there was no Dual to save him. Perhaps because of this, Roshon was very calm as he received the bad news, and thanked everyone for his run on the show.
Melissa, meanwhile, was a bit more emotional when she was eliminated at the end of the hour– and rightfully so, given she had been kicked off on her 48th birthday. Yowch!
Still, despite being reduced to tears, Gilbert had only positive things to say about her experience on the show.
“It’s been a real blessing and a joy,” she said, through tears.
“I’m amazed that I even made it this far,” she added.
The Little House on the Prairie star, who landed at the bottom of the leader board on Monday, had her fair share of Dancing hiccups this season; in April, she reportedly suffered a concussion and whiplash after a routine, and was quickly rushed to the hospital. She returned to the ballroom floor one week later, in high spirits.
