President Obama: I Support Gay Marriage
It's a monumental day for gay rights.
The Commander in Chief said:
"I've just concluded for me personally, it is important for me to affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married."This comes on the heels of North Carolina's controversial passing Amendment One, which banned same sex marriage.
Obama is also following in the footsteps of his number two, Vice President Joe Biden, with this announcement, as Biden recently came forward in support of gay marriage as well.
USA Today has an evolution of Obama's stance on gay marriage, which you can check out here. Are you glad Obama has given his support on this matter? Sound off in the comments!
