First Look: Ashton Kutcher As Steve Jobs For New Biopic (PHOTOS)

Ashton Kutcher is stepping into Steve Jobs' shoes -- literally.

Sporting the late Apple founder's signature black turtleneck, blue jeans, and sneakers look, the Two and a Half Men actor was snapped walking around the set of the his new indie flick. Titled Jobs, the film is set document the technology mogul's rise to success.

According to a production insider, Ashton, 34, has been taking his new role very seriously.

“He is already meeting with folks that knew Steve Jobs. He’s working with professionals to get inside the voice. He’s letting his hair grow out. I understand he’s canceled all meetings and actually canceled all other projects,” producer Mark Hulme told Flash [via The Daily], adding, “He believes the role was meant for him.”

Jobs himself passes away last October following a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 56.

“The physical resemblance is actually scary … but he himself connects with this man in a very significant way. Of course he’s a big techie. He has a personal affinity to what Steve Jobs accomplished,” Hulme said of Ashton. “Ashton is a much more intense an individual than a lot of his current roles represent. We are feeling convinced that he’s gonna nail this.”

Swing Vote director Joshua Michael Stern is set to take the helm with a script by Matt Whiteley.

They really look like each other a lot, but I have serious doubts about Ashton's acting talent.

I think she will be better than Reese Witherspoon. Too bad it's only a TV movie.

I am a huge huge fan of both Jewel and June Carter! Honestly, to my ears, both of these ladies have a SWEET HEAVENLY ANGELIC VOICE which is such a comfort and consolation to listen to especially before going to bed or if you have some kind of constant troubles in life! Jewel is the most beautiful girl inside and out (Should be noted as the MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL because she is!) So is the gentle yet strong beautiful June Carter! Jewel a pure country rooted who loves the real nature of the sweet country side. To have JEWEL to play June Carter Cash is the BEST and RIGHT choice that ever happened!!! I already looking forward so much into this. Jewel and June, the most inspiring women in my LIfe! ~♥~
