Rihanna caused quite the sensation when she was photographed leaving Los Angeles’ famed Giorgio Baldi restaurant on Thursday, wearing a revealing two-piece crochet ensemble that showed off her tattooed-up midriff.

Celebuzz highlighted the 24-year-old Battleship star's ensemble, even questioning whether she went a little too far.

Even superstar Cher is weighing in on the controversy; she posted a tweet Friday defending Rihanna. The 65-year-old wrote:
