Ray J Released From Hospital After Deadly Blood Clot Scare (EXCLUSIVE)

Ray J was released from a Las Vegas, Nevada hospital after being admitted earlier this week following Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards, Celebuzz has confirmed.

His rep just released a statement confirming that the For the Love of Ray J star, 31, is back in Los Angeles "following an extensive battery of tests to make sure that he did not have a blood clot in his lungs."

The rep added it is a "potentially a deadly condition that can occur following a long haul plane flight."

A blood clot in the lungs is same condition that took rapper Heavy D's life this past year.

His rep added, "Ray J had arrived in Vegas Sunday following a 32 hour round trip from China and four hour drive to Las Vegas."

While TMZ reported that a confrontation at the Billboard Awards with the late Whitney Houston‘s family member Pat Houston led to Ray J’s hospitalization, his rep told Celebuzz:

“He’s been working too hard. He did a concert in China and is working on a new business over there.”
