‘Real Housewives’ Melissa Gorga on Selling $3.8 Million NJ Mansion: 'We’re Not Broke' (EXCLUSIVE)
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is insisting that she and husband Joe are not broke, despite putting their $3.8 Montville Township, N.J. mansion on the market.
"This is what we do, we flip house," Melissa, 34, told Celebuzz in an exclusive video interview.
"I know people are saying, 'Are they broke?' No. I'd be the first one to say this is a monster house, it's too big and we cant afford it. Fortunately that is not the situation.
"We can afford it, we can stay there we are just choosing to switch towns."
It’s not the only home that Melissa and her husband Joe, co-star Teresa Giudice's younger brother, have for sale.
"The (Jersey) Shore house has been on the market since we bought it, it's on a small lot," Melissa told Celebuzz’s Rachel Maresca.
"[Joe] wants to build one that's a little bit larger, it basically goes on sale every single winter. But in the summer we pull it off because we are there and then in October, it goes back up.
"Everything is for sale with Joe that's what he does."
The reality star joked: "Everything's for sale in our house, I am for sale!”
There has also been speculation that the Gorgas and their three children — Joey, 2, Gino, 4, and Antonia, 6 -- would move to Hollywood in search of stardom for her fledging music career. Her single, On Display, was released on iTunes dance chart selections last August.
"It’s definitely not a no,” Melissa said.
“We would never be there permanently but to have another second spot might happen, might -- but we will see.”
