The singer’s Atlantic City concerts are the first since giving birth in January to daughter Blue Ivy.
A Celebuzz reporter in the crowd reports that the audience cheered loudly as Obama made her way to her seat wearing a shiny green dress. Obama and her single ladies are sitting in the orchestra section, getting up to dance when “Who Run the World (Girls)” came on.
One fan yelled, “This is history!”
During the encore, Beyonce, acknowledged the fan’s remarks and thanked concertgoers for their support.
“I have not been on stage in a year. Do you know how hard I worked?!” Beyonce asked a packed house.
“I lost 60 pounds! They had me on the treadmill,” she said, laughing to the crowd.
Earlier this week, Obama told People magazine who she’d like to trade placed with, the President’s wife said: “Gosh. If I had some gift, I’d be Beyonce, I’d be some great singer.”
In April, Beyonce penned an open letter expressing how highly she thinks of Obama, lauding the first lady for being a “caring mother” and “loving wife.”
