'Les Miserables' Trailer: Hear Anne Hathaway Sing! (VIDEO)
Anne, who plays the ill-fated Fantine, is the main focus of the trailer, as she sings a stripped-down and heartbreaking version of the show's classic number, 'I Dreamed A Dream.' Yes, we're ready to cry, too!
What else do we see in the trailer?
Fans can also catch a glimpse of the film's all-star cast, which includes, in no particular order: Hugh Jackman, as Jean Valjean; Amanda Seyfried, as Cosette; Russell Crowe, as Jarvet; and Eddie Redmayne, as Marius. Impressive, to say the least.
The film, which is already generating serious Oscar buzz, is director Tom Hooper's follow-up to 2010's The King's Speech, which took home four Oscars in 2011, including Best Picture. Les Mis opens in theaters on Dec. 7, 2012.The musical first hit Broadway in 1987, and went on to win a staggering eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
Like many of her castmembers, Anne -- who chopped off her hair for the role -- has sang time and time again, both in film and on the stage. For more on her epic voice, check out this clip from the Kennedy Center Honors, when Anne sang 'She's Me Pal' for Meryl Streep. You can also watch a full version of 'I Dreamed A Dream,' as performed by one of the show's original castmembers, Judy Kuhn, below.

Nice post. I was checking continuously this weblog and I am inspired! Extremely useful info particularly the remaining section :) I maintain such info much. I used to be seeking this certain information for a very lengthy time. Thanks and best of luck.
obviously like your web-site but you have to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I in finding it very troublesome to inform the truth on the other hand I'll surely come again again.
