Gordon Ramsay: I'll Teach Kim Kardashian How to Cook Indian Food
It was a 'kitchen nightmare' for outspoken chef Gordon Ramsay: The moment Kim Kardashian labeled Indian food “disgusting" on a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Whilst it landed the socialite in an extra-spicy controversy, the 45-year-old television chef -- star of Fox's Hell's Kitchen and Masterchef -- thinks he can turn Kardashian's tastebuds around.
"I’d like to have Kim Kardashian on Masterchef... I’ll show her that eating Indian food doesn’t need to be as bad as she thinks it is," Ramsay, who has been awarded 13 Michelin stars during his career, told Celebuzz.
Who is the one star who Ramsay doesn't need to offer tips too?
David Beckham, the celebrity chef revealed.
"He knows how to cook," said Ramsay, proving that Victoria Beckham might well be the luckiest gal in the world.
Perhaps the roles could be reversed, however: Ramsay had to be carried off the field after a big hit during a charity football match in Manchester, England, last weekend. See that video below.
He was given oxygen and carted off the field on a stretcher during the celebrity benefit, Soccer Aid. Ramsay was taken to the hospital and released "slightly bruised and battered" a few hours later.
"I give a lot of flak, so sometimes in life you have to take it," the father of four said, pointing to the ribbing he's received after the incident.
“At the end of the day, we raised $9 million for charity. It was an amazing night. It was exciting. I wouldn’t change it for the world."
Though, he joked, "Maybe he (Beckham) can teach me some defense mechanism soccer moves, so next time I get taken out on the field, I can look after myself."
Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen premieres over two nights, airing June 5 at 8PM ET. An all-new episode of Masterchef, airs June 4 at 9PM ET on FOX.
