Who Has the Bigger Twitter Addiction: Tom Hanks or Rita Wilson? Colin Hanks Spills All! (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)
“Twitter: it brings families together,” Colin Hanks joked to us about his web-savvy dad Tom Hanks and stepmom Rita Wilson.
Colin, who’s the son of the Cast Away star and late actress Samantha Lewes, recently sat down with Celebuzz at a junket for his latest flick, High School, where he talked about his family’s tweeting habits. While his famous father has amassed over 4 million followers, the 34-year-old told us that he’s not the one in his family who’s obsessed with the social networking site.
So who has the biggest Twitter addiction?
“I think mom’s coming up,” he revealed to Celebuzz. “She’s starting to tweet a whole lot more stuff.”
“I will say this, they’re not the 140 Twitter feeds to follow as voted by Time magazine. I am,” he added, smirking.
As for High School director John Stalberg Jr., his Twitter only consists of his family.
“I’ve only got two followers,” he joked. “My mom and my dad.”
“Once your baby comes, you’re going to be live-tweeting her entire life,” Colin quipped.
Stalberg better get typing then — the first-time screenwriter and director recently welcomed a baby girl, Grace May Stalberg, with wife Linnea.
Catch more of Colin and John’s hilarious interview in the video above, then the rest of the cast interviews from the junket below.
High School hits theaters on June 1.
