Kristen Stewart Goes Ultra-Glam for Vanity Fair, Admits to Being Bullied (PHOTOS)
Although she's one of the biggest female stars in Hollywood, even Kristen Stewart spent a good part of her youth dealing with bullies in school.
The 22-year-old Twilight actress opened up about her awkward past in the July 2012 issue of Vanity Fair, on which she graces the cover, admitting she used to look like a boy.
"I wore my brother's clothes, dude!" she said in the issue, on stands later this month. "Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn't wearing Juicy jeans. I didn't even think about it. I wore my gym clothes."
"But it's not like I didn't care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, 'Oh my God! That's disgusting -- you don't shave your legs!
Of course, nowadays K-Stew is a major success story; not only is she the star of the Twilight Saga, during which she met her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, her latest film, Snow White and the Huntsman, opened to a strong $56.2 million over the weekend.
Still, despite all of her success, Kristen says she still gets bullied all the time, especially for not looking perfect in every photograph. As she explains:
I get some serious s*** about it. I'm not embarrassed about it. I'm proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, 'What an actress! What a faker!' That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like sh-t in half my photos, and I don't give a f***. What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, 'She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.' I don't care about the voracious, starving s*** eaters who want to turn truth into s***.For more on Kristen's couture photo shoot in Paris, watch the video below!
