Amber Portwood will stay behind bars. The Teen Mom star has reportedly been sentenced to five years in prison following a December drug arrest in Indiana, according to TMZ.

Celebuzz has reached out to Amber's rep on the report that the judge granted the reality star's request on Tuesday to reimpose the sentence that was given to her back in January 2012. The ruling comes after Amber, who is featured on MTV’s hit docu-reality series, dodged prison time with a drug rehabilitation program, of which she never followed through with.

The judge has requested that Amber serve her time at Indiana Department of Corrections therapeutic community program, which also serves as a treatment facility. The website adds that the Teen Mom will be given credit for the time she's already served.

TMZ reported this past May that Amber, who has a 3-year-old daughter Leah with her ex-boyfriend Gary, admitted she had not been clean since starting her mandatory drug rehabilitation program. Amber, “couldn’t stand the drug court program and wanted out ASAP.”

What do you think of this sentence? Too harsh, or will prison do her good? Let us know, below.

She wanted the sentence Bc she said she needed this to save her life. An addiction is a horrible thing and she should be respected for admitting she was powerless and needed help.
