'Django Unchained' Trailer: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx Lead All-Star Cast in Quentin Tarantino's New Film (VIDEO)

Looks like it's going to be a busy year for Leonardo DiCaprio.

The 37-year-old actor has two films hitting theaters on Christmas Day, both Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained and Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gasby. In the film, which is his first release since 2008's box office hit Inglorious Basterds, DiCaprio portrays a slaveowner, and the role is definitely a Leo like never seen before. Co-starring alongside DiCaprio are Oscar winners Jaime Foxx and Christopher Waltz.

Taratino, director of cult classics such as Pulp Fiction, usually keeps his projects under wraps. But the Django trailer is quite revealing.

According to IMDB, the plot is as follows:

With the help of his mentor (Waltz), a slave-turned-bounty hunter (Foxx) sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner (DiCaprio).
The Django role is quite a departure from the actor's most recent movies in which he's played an array of tortured characters (Shutter Island, Inception, J. Edgar).

DiCaprio's other aforementioned film hitting theaters on Christmas Day is The Great Gatsby. Between these two projects, it's a safe bet that he'll be contending for an Oscar once again.

Watch the trailer for Gatsby, which also stars Tobey Maguire and Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan below.

Which one of Leo's movies will you be seeing on Christmas Day? Let us know in the comments.
