John Mayer Miffed at Taylor Swift — See 12 Other Stars Who’ve Taken Pot Shots at Exes (PHOTOS)

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, singer John Mayer expressed disappointment in Taylor Swift for writing the 2010 song 'Dear John,' which many people felt was about their never-confirmed relationship from a few years ago.

“It made me feel terrible,” he said. “Because I didn’t deserve it. I’m pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do.”

The song, which Mayer also described as cheap songwriting, has a pretty strong message for whoever "John" actually is, thanks to lyrics like "Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?" and "Cried all the way home, I should have known."

Of course, John Mayer isn't the first celeb to have a song written about him -- and he certainly won't be the last. One of Katy Perry's latest songs, "Part of Me," is alleged to be about her split from Russell Brand; and believe it or not, Mayer allegedly himself wrote a song about his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston.

Called "Shadow Days," the song -- which can be heard on his new CD, Born and Raised -- chronicles the feelings he felt after broke up with a woman, presumed to be the 43-year-old Friends beauty.

“You find yourself alone …" he sings. " ... I found myself in pieces, On my hotel floor ... I finally learned to let it go.

John and Jen began dating in early 2008; their on-again, off-again relationship ended one year later. Since May 2011, Jen has been dating her Wanderlust co-star, Justin Theroux.
