Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized After Car Accident: Report
Lindsay Lohan was sent to the hospital Friday afternoon after her black Porsche slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler, TMZ is reporting.
According to the report, Lohan, 25, was driving along the Pacific Coast Highway at the time of the incident. An ambulance was subsequently called to the scene; however, Lohan was reportedly transferred to the hospital through other means.
TMZ adds that Lohan appears to be doing fine following the incident, and that doctors are currently performing tests on the troubled starlet. The car she was driving was reportedly totaled.
This isn't Lindsay's first involvement in a car accident. In 2005, the actress crashed her Mercedes into another car as she tried to get away from the paparazzi.
In March, she was also accused of hitting a vehicle while trying to leave the Sayers Club in Hollywood.
Lindsay -- who recently completed her formal probation, which stemmed from multiple DUI arrests and an accusation that she stole a necklace from an area jeweler -- is currently in Los Angeles filming the Lifetime TV movie Liz and Dick, in which she plays the late Elizabeth Taylor.
Celebuzz has reached out to a rep for the actress and is awaiting comment.
