Lindsay Lohan Car Accident Details Released, Crash Victim Claims He Was Offered a Bribe
Although Lindsay Lohan walked away from her car accident with only cuts and bruises, the actress is still dealing with some of the repercussions from Friday's crash.
According to TMZ, the other driver involved in the crash -- who only revealed his first name as James -- claims Lohan, 25, tried to bribe him after the collision.

While driving down the Pacific Coast Highway, the Mean Girls actress reportedly slammed her black Porsche rental into the back of his 18-wheeler. Sources close to the actress say that that Lohan claims her brakes had failed.
According to James, he immediately called the police and hopped out of his vehicle to exchange information.
However, he claims that Lohan and his male assistant left their car -- which was completely totalled -- and jumped into a Cadillac Escalade that was tailing the actress instead. The vehicle was supplied by Lifetime, the network behind Lohan's new movie Liz & Dick, to drive Lohan to set. The actress had declined the ride earlier that day.
When he confronted the group, James says the SUV driver kept him away from Lohan and offered him money, telling him they could "go to the bank" to withdraw cash.
According to James, he also saw Lohan's assistant pick up a pink bag and "filled it up with something" before hiding it underneath a pile of clothes.
"Him and the guy took me across the street and told me this was some kind of famous person and they didn't want to be in the media," James recalls. "But I'd already called 911 because they were trying to get away from the scene. But they packed a bag and then the limousine driver told me, 'Don't mention the bag to the cops.'"
The actress' spokeman, Steven Honig, tells Celebuzz, "Lindsay cooperated fully with law enforcement. She has answered all their questions and provided them with everything they have asked for."
The Santa Monica Police Department has yet to make any statement regarding Lohan's mysterious bag. However, they did issue an official report citing both Lohan showed no signs of driving under the influence.
Liz & Dick's executive producer, Larry A. Thompson, recently revealed that Lohan resumed work after she left the hospital. The actress only received tests from doctors.
“She wants to work, we are sending her to makeup hoping to resume production and get as much as we can done,” the producer told Deadline.
