The Magic Mike star has wed Brazilian model Camila Alves in a private ceremony on Saturday.
The nuptials were held at the actor’s private estate in Austin, Texas. Demonstrating his southern hospitality, McConaughey, 42, provided state-of-the-art tents — complete with high-tech air-conditioning units — for guests who chose to party well into the night.
Who was at the soiree?
Old friend and True Detectives co-star Woody Harrelson and Dazed and Confused director Richard Linklater were just few of the famous faces amongst the among the 100 close friends and family that attended the bash.
According to Entertainment Tonight, preparations for the wedding began just two weeks ago. Estancia Churrascaria was responsible for food — serving up an array Brazilian dishes like top and bottom steak, chicken wrapped in bacon, and pork sausages with cheese bread for McConaughey and Alves, 30.
Along with fire pits, silver troughs with ice cold beverages, and garden games set up around the property, seven long, wooden 18-seater tables were provided for guests during the reception.
Earlier in the day, the laid back couple, who met in a Los Angeles bar six years ago, were spotted kicking back in a hammock with close friends.
McConaughey and Alves, 30, got engaged on Christmas Day and announced the news on the actor’s Twitter. At the time, the duo said they felt no rush to make it official.
