'Tanning Mom' Patricia Krentcil's Frequent Salon Under Fire, Fighting Health Code Violation
The salon owner where "tanorexic" mom Patricia Krentcil allegedly took her 5-year-old daughter for a fake bake is fighting a health code violation.
The Department of Health and Senior Services in Nutley, NJ, announced they are fining City Tropics for numerous violations, which include consumer overexposure and misusing sunlamp equipment, according to TMZ.
The owner of the salon says he's not going to pay.
He tells TMZ that his salon didn't break any laws and he's asking for the fine to be dismissed.
Hollywood is obsessed with tanning, as evidenced by a many number of overly-tan stars.
But even Hollywood has a limit. Tanning advocate Snooki told Extra her thoughts on the tan mom, saying,
“That b*** is crazy… you are not supposed to take kids there. Everyone knows you are NOT supposed to take kids there.”On Monday, she also told GMA that she's no longer hitting the tanning booth for the sake of her unborn baby. In the same interview, she also said breastfeeding scares her.
While Snooki and the gang are no strangers to Saturday Night Live‘s antics, the tanorexic mom also got burned by SNL after the story broke! Kristen Wiig impersonated the tanoxeric on Weekend Update. Patricia responded to the spoof, telling the New York Post, “It was well done,” adding “the whole thing was hysterical.”
