First Look: Alanis Morissette’s New Album Cover (EXCLUSIVE)

Grammy Award winner Alanis Morissette is back with a new album, due out August 28, titled Havoc and Bright Lights and the 38-year-old singer is offering fans a first look at the album cover exclusively at Celebuzz.

But the first peek at the cover art here isn’t the only piece of the puzzle.

Morisette last released an album four years ago. The Canadian-born performer — whose first international album was the rock-influenced Jagged Little Pill, released in 1995 — has taken on other projects, including those close to her heart.

Morissette, a vegan, is an active environmentalist.

She also married rapper Mario “MC Souleye” Treadway in a private ceremony at their home on May 22, 2010. Their first child, Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, was born on December 25, 2010.

The singer-songwriter, guitarist, record producer and actress also appeared in the HBO series Weeds as Dr. Audra Kitson.
