Jack Osbourne Won’t Back Down From His Multiple Sclerosis: ‘My Life Is Far From Over’

Jack Osbourne: Why Now?
Jack and Sharon share their reactions to his MS.
In the wake of his devastating diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis, Jack Osbourne tells People magazine that his life is “far from over.”

“I kept thinking, ‘Why now?’” says the former reality star, who welcomed a daughter just two weeks ago with fianceé Lisa Stelly. “But I couldn’t sit there feeling sorry for myself.  I have a family to think about.”

Still, the 26-year-old, who revealed his health crisis earlier this week, says that his first reaction to the diagnosis was anger.

“I was pissed off because so many good things in my life were happening,” Osbourne says. “I think when God came to review my file, he was like, ‘Nope, too much good. Make bad.’”

Osbourne was first diagnosed with MS  — an unpredictable autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system – after losing most of his vision in one eye.  An MRI revealed the dire news, but his superstar mother Sharon Osbourne says she’s confident her son will overcome his new obstacles.

“It’s a state of mind that will get him through this,” says the America’s Got Talent judge tells People.

Indeed, 59-year-old Sharon appeared on CONAN just last night to reiterate her belief.

“He is so strong and so positive,” she said. “And, yes, my son will conquer!”
