Blake Lively Named New Face of Gucci’s Premiere Fragrance
Just two years after the 24-year-old blonde bombshell signed on to do Chanel’s Mademoiselle fragrance ads, she joins Gucci as their spokesmodel, announcing the news Friday, June 22.
The not-yet-released Gucci fragrance, entitled Première, is inspired by old Hollywood glamour.
Lively will star in a short film for the fragrance, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive). The short will premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September. In addition, the starlet will also appear in the brand’s print campaign.
“In conceiving this fragrance I was inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood’s golden era,” Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said in a statement. “Blake’s unique style and charisma brings that allure to life in a very contemporary way.”
The new Gucci gal is proceeded by a slew of other stars including Evan Rachel Wood, Chris Evans and James Franco.
